Christmas Cheer - December 2007

     Over the Holidays, Kiwanis Club of Rome adopted two families from Elm Street Elementary for Christmas. We purchased gifts, food and necessities for 6 less fortunate children. Gifts ranged from shoes, clothes, dolls, books, toys and school supplies. Canned staple foods and a fried turkey for each family (thanks to Terry Herndon) were also delivered. This project is something we will continue from year to year and hopefully we will adopt more children with each passing year.

Apple Sale

These are pictures of our apple sale from 2007.  Our thanks go to Keith Mickler and John Pillsbury for helping to make this happen.  The apple sale helped earn the club over $1,000.
