There is much that can and should be added to
this page. The Rome Kiwanis has a rich history. Being the
second oldest Kiwanis Club in the state of Georgia means that at various
times the club has been involved in many projects.
Countless
numbers of people have been involved in leadership. Untold
hours have been volunteered. But, most importantly, the children in
the Rome area and around the world have been helped by caring individuals.

In connection with our local
history, we currently have three needs:
- An excellent history of the Rome Kiwanis has been written at some point in the
past. Unfortunately, it is not in an electronic format. If
someone had the time and ability to type in
about 20 pages of text, it could be placed on this website.
- The club needs a scrap book person.
We need someone that will help to keep track of the current history
along with the past.
- Finally,
we need
those who have bits of the Rome Kiwanis Club history to send them to us.
If you would be interested in helping in one of these areas, please
contact one of the officers. |
